Liquid silicone rubber for pad printing is composed of 2 components: Part A is silicone rubber, part B is catalyst.
1. Mix part A with part B evenly in a proper weight ratio
2. Decant the mixture into your mold
3. Wait for the silicone rubber to cure and get it out of the mold
4. Now the printing pad has come out for at your proposal.

A. Why does the silicone pad have a short service life?
(1). The problem may be caused by inappropriate filtration of silicone rubber. Impurities that come from unclean packaging are probably not thoroughly removed in the filtering process.
(2). The durability of silicone pads is closely connected with the amount of silicone oil added. The more the silicone oil is added, the softer the silicone pad will be. Too much silicone oil will jeopardize the molecules of the silicone rubber, and results in the printing pad's short service life.
(3) The service life of the silicone pad also changed with the size of the printed patterns. If the pattern printed is big, a big printing pad is required and vice versa. Normally, the proportion of size between the silicone pad and the pattern is 3: 1.
B. Why is the printed pattern incomplete or not clear?
(1). If the rubber pad is too hard and the pattern is very delicate or small, the printing patterns will be incomplete or not very clear, because in this case the rubber pad cannot do well in absorption of the printing ink from the steel plate. Therefore, if your pattern is very delicate or small, please use a soft silicone rubber pad for pad printing.
(2). If the percentage of water in the ink is very high, the printing pattern also will be incomplete, and spots may appear. To solve this issue, please clean your ink box, or change the printing ink or Tianna water.
