Description of Rubber Silicone RTV-2 for Candle Molds Making (RT218)/Candy Mouldmaking
LSR ( Liquid Silicone Rubber ) for Candle Mold Making is a two-component material, which consists of Part A base silicone and Part B CA30 curing agent; Then the silicone base and curing agent can cure at room temperature by a condensation reaction. These materials can be cast into the cured silicone mold: Plaster, polyurethane, PU, GRC, cement, resin, polyester, wax etc. Characteristics of candle mould making of silicone rubber
1. Good flow ability and long working time
2. Medium hardness
3. High tear and tensile strength
4. Easy de-mould from complex replica parts
5. Acid and alkali-resistance
Note of Rubber Silicone RTV-2 for Candle Molds Making (RT218)/Candy Mouldmaking
RTV215/218 silicone rubber is an industrial product and must not be used in food molding, dental human skin molding applications.
Packing of Rubber Silicone for Candle Molds Making
Part A base silicone: 20kg/drum, 25kg/drum or 200kg/drum
Part B CA30 Curing Agent: 0.25kg/bottle, 1kg/bottle and 10kg/bottle
Applications of Rubber Silicone for Candle Molds Making
RTV-2 Silicone rubber is suited for middle size reproduction of candle mold, soap mold, small size concrete stones, artificial stones, plaster molding, figures, art objects, decoration molding, and the products with thin flower patterns.
RTV215 and RTV218 silicone is especial suitable for candle and soap mold making
