Food Safe Platinum Silicone Molding RTV2 Liquid Silicone Rubber
MCPLA-L Series RTV2 platinum cured liquid silicone rubber is a two-part, high-performance elastomer that is used for mold making, casting, and other industrial applications. It is called "platinum cured" because it uses a platinum catalyst to initiate the curing process, which results in a higher quality and durable end elastomer, which are good for making molds for casting a variety of materials, like food molds, resin, concrete molds.Features of MC RTV2 Translucent Platinum Cured Liquid Silicone Rubber
#Easy to Operate : Due to the Room Temperature Cured feature and Low Viscosity, It's easy to use platinum liquid silicone rubber for your DIY Projects at home.
#High Tear Strength: RTV2 platinum cure silicone rubber has a high tear strength, making it ideal for making complex molds that require multiple demolding times.
#Easy Release: RTV2 platinum cure silicone rubber has excellent release properties, which means that the mold or casting can be easily removed from the mold without causing damage to the final product.
#Non-Toxic and Skin Safe: RTV2 platinum cure silicone rubber is non-toxic and skin safe, making it safe for use in applications that come into contact with skin or food.

Processing and Instructions of Addition Cure Silicones
Step 1
The ideal working temperature is around a constant 25°C. Best results can be obtained at constant temperatures between 21°C and 26°C, in a clean, dry, dust-free environment. Avoid working in high humidity.
Step 2
Measure product in accordance with your intended use. Prepare 1 part A to 1 part B by weight and pour into a clean, smooth-sided container large enough to hold all the liquid and allow room for mixing.
Step 3
The material must be mixed thoroughly for at least 5 minutes. make sure to scrape the container sides, bottom, and corners as you mix. Be careful not to whip excessive air into the mixture.
Step 4
Prepare a container(not silicone material),add the item and keep them face up.
Pour the mixed silicone onto the container and distribute evenly to cover the top of the item by at least 6-7mm
Step 5
Adjust the position and then let it cure, the bubbles will melt gradually.
Step 6
Pull the item out of the mold
Note:
Contamination from sulfur (e.g., sulfur-based clay), amines, tin compounds, cured polyester resin, some paints and some silicone rubbers may inhibit surface cure of platinum-cured rubbers.
Apply a release agent, Although not usually necessary, a release agent will make demolding easier when casting into most surfaces.
RTV Silicone must be used within 12 months from the manufacturing date. Beyond this date, MC silicone no longer guarantees the products confirms with the sales specification. In order to preserve best properties it is recommended to follow strictly the following guidelines:
