Artificial stone mold making silicone rubber is generally named as two-part room temperature cure silicone rubber, which is a condensation cure system, features with a mix ratio of 2-3% catalyst, pot life in 30 minutes, mould will be formed after 4-6 hours.
A. Low viscosity, exceptional fluidity and easy operation
B. Resistance to deformation, high-temperature
C. Acid, alkali and ageing-resistance
D. Low shrinkage
E. Good tensile strength
F. High reproduction times
Correct mixing ratio
Component A is silicone rubber, and component B is curing agent or vulcanizing agent. Usually the mixing ratio will be 2-3%, e. G. To 100g silicone rubber should be added 2g catalyst and then mix them thoroughly. (Note: The weight of the silicone and catalyst should be weighed correctly).
Pouring the mixture and curing
Pour the misxed Part A base silicone and CA-30 curing agent as soon as possible onto the original, avoiding air entrapment. The catalyzed material will cure to a flexible rubber within 6 hours(or faster by different mixing ratio or room temperature), we advice you de-mold after 24 hours, it is will improve the replicate times of silicone mold.
Storage and Precautions
RTV-2 silicone for casting stone molds is an environmentally-friendly liquid silicone product, is not easy to burn and can be stored and transported as non-hazardous goods. The shelf life of the product is about 9 months from the date of production. Inspection is required when exceeding the time limited. It can continue to be used in case of neither thickening nor deterioration.
We are manufacturer, and specialized in manufacturing different hardness, different viscosity silicone rubber series, we are competitive in price with good quality.
